Large scale was used to create instant impact, like the
kind the Fauve’s work caused in their initial exposition
in 1905.To further increase tension elements were
placed close to the edges. Color was emphasized by
applying vivid colors on black and white backgrounds.
Neatly arranged Garamond was used to reference tra-
ditional beauty and design, but with wide kerning and
slight overlaps in order to mantain the tone of playful,
wild irreverence.
